About us
Desert journeys from Marrakech, planned around you
Tours Desert Marrakech specialises in private trips from Marrakech to the Sahara and across Morocco.
We believe the road to the desert is part of the adventure: the High Atlas passes, the earthen kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou, the palm groves of the Draa and the gorges of Dades and Todra. Our itineraries leave time for all of it, with a private vehicle, a driver who knows the route and a pace that suits you. Whether you want a short escape to Zagora, the classic three days to Merzouga or a two-week journey through the imperial cities, we prepare a clear written proposal and adjust it until it feels right. Then we stay a message away throughout your trip.

FAQ
Marrakech Desert Tours: Your Questions
How many days do I need for a desert tour from Marrakech?
Two days for Zagora, at least three days for the high dunes of Merzouga. Four days or more gives a more relaxed pace.
Merzouga or Zagora: which should I choose?
Merzouga offers the tall dunes of Erg Chebbi and the Dades and Todra gorges on the way. Zagora is closer, with smaller dunes, which makes it ideal for a 2-day trip.
What transport is used?
A private air-conditioned vehicle with a driver, with pick-up at your riad, hotel or the airport.
Where do we sleep?
In hotels, riads or kasbahs along the way and in a desert camp in the dunes. You choose between standard, superior or luxury accommodation.
Are the tours private?
Yes. Our itineraries are designed as private tours; group options are available on request.
When is the best time to visit the Sahara?
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are the most comfortable. Winter nights are cold and summer days very hot.
How do I book?
Send a request from the tour page or by WhatsApp. We reply with a written proposal; your booking is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation and change conditions depend on your trip and are stated clearly in your written quotation before you confirm.
